PT Sentral Medika Indonesia (SMI)

PT Sentral Medika Indonesia (SMI) is a medical device manufacturing company established in 2016 in Semarang, Central Java Province, Indonesia. PT SMI's journey began as a medical device distribution company, then transformed into a medical device manufacturer for Covid-19 countermeasures in 2020. Since 2023, PT SMI has focused on producing medical devices specifically in the field of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Laboratories.

The Beginning of the Journey

The journey began as a distributor of medical device accessories with only 2 employees.

2018

ONECARE Brand

Created the "ONECARE" brand and launched its inaugural products consisting of pediatric thermometers and laboratory consumables.

Pandemic Contribution

Contributed to pandemic mitigation by producing hazmat suits and medical masks.

Modern IVD Factory

An important milestone with the construction of an international-standard IVD factory and the initial production of staining reagents.
